Finding Your Daily Joy

Do you often feel sad or lonely? Do you wake up feeling alone in the world, like nobody cares about you? Or maybe you feel like you just don’t get enough joy from your days. Finding joy and happiness in life is about making sure that the majority of the emotional content of your days are joyful and happy. Sounds simple right? 

Unfortunately finding joy for many can be challenging. The reason is most people do not have an emotional practice that empowers them to find the emotions they wish to populate in their day. Most just wait for good things to happen and then they are allowed to celebrate and feel joy. But the truth is, we never need an excuse to feel what we want.

My past client Greg was a great example of how we can radically change our perspective by putting in emotional and mindful practices in our days to cultivate joy, love and all the feelings we wish to feel each day. When I first starting coaching Greg he was stern, harsh, mad, angry and had a very pessimistic point of view. And in his town many people were afraid of him actually. But after just a few weeks of working together Greg realized that all of what he felt in his life was his choice. 

By the time our time came to an end, Greg was a pillar of his community. I would get so many emails and messages from people I have never met telling me how wonderful Greg was and how positive and changed he had become. He actually became a shinning example of positivity in his community, so much so that people started coming to him for up lifting. 

We all have this capability to find anything we wish in this life. We just need to focus our thoughts and our processes.
