“Your labor is sacred”

“Your life’s labors is the sacred energy that you give to the universe for all eternity. Celebrate the gifts that you give each day with a joyful heart and a warm smile for everyone you encounter.” - Tadayoshi Inoue

What do you value more; your accomplishments or the work that goes into attracting what you want to accomplish? Are your goals your rewards or is there something else that really drives you? Most of us focus intensely on our goals, we put in the work but we sometimes dread the labor required. Especially when we have big goals, the work required can be daunting and immense but we push through hoping to celebrate when we see the fruits of our labors.

The problem most suffer from is an unwillingness to celebrate their efforts before their goals are accomplished. Goals are important to let us know what direction we need to point our efforts and energy but most of us don’t stop to celebrate until we accomplish what we desire.

Our efforts and labor are sacred because they are in essence a critical part of the creative process of our existence. They are the energetic representation of your intentions. We all contribute a tremendous amount of creative energy to the expansion of our universe and without each one of our contributions we would not be exactly where we are today.

The work you do in pursuit of your goals is hallowed. You honor your past lessons, your current position and your future outcomes when you recognize just how wonderful your labor really is. What you think and do each day are the holy rituals of your life. Pat yourself on the back each day, tell yourself thank you for your important contribution to this life and know that you are so much more important than you probably feel to the greatness of this human endeavor we are all involved in.

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.

P.S. Picture: me and my good buddy Mel Chancey! Just two loving spirits born on the opposite sides of the tracks and country who found common ground later in life through compassion and truth. Thank you Mel for being such a warm and good friend. I appreciate you brother!
