Inner joy

How do you choose to feel when the world is crumbling down around you? When you wake up to the same uninspiring routine each day how do you feel the joy and wonder of your life? Does it feel like each of your days is only offering you the same old blah feelings? Or worse, do you feel depressed about your life experience these days?

The good news is, as individuals we have a choice to feel what we feel. Most people just don’t realize that they are choosing what they are getting right now. We all choose by what we decide to focus our mind and energy on. When we point our focus at something we amplify it in our own experience alone and whatever feelings we are generating we amplify them every second we decide to point our attention at them. 

In order to cultivate the good feeling life that most of us all really want, we must focus predominantly on topics and things that helps us to nurture joy, love and excitement in our experience. The even better news is, when you get really good at this you don’t even need the topics or things in life to focus on in order to feel what you desire. 

Mastering your own emotional responses takes practice and patience. And it is important to note that it doesn’t serve any of us to get rid of all negative emotion. On the contrary, we only need to be aware of them, feel them, release them and learn from them. Without all of what we each experience in our lives, we would make little progress towards expansion. It is our becoming more that we actually came here to this life to live. And this is not possible without this wonderful learning process.

Become the conductor of your own orchestra of emotions. Listen to the beautiful sounds of your feelings. They tell us so much about who we are and what we desire. And they allow us to appreciate what this life has to offer us. There is so much that we can be thankful for if we are brave enough to look. I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
