Unconditional love

“Unconditional love isn’t what we give, it is who we truly are.” - Tad Inoue

When I think of unconditional love I used to think of what I felt for others and what I received from others, but there is a deeper and more meaningful way to think of it. Because unconditional love doesn’t require anything to maintain it or to even allow it to exist, it moves into the realm of being. This kind of love is a state of being.

Unconditional love is our highest state of being. It is the essence of what I mean when I write each day “I am love.” Love is who I am and it is who we all are. Love isn’t just shown in our actions and our intentions, but love is the energy of our existence.

Deep within each of us stirs a magnificent source of everything. It is what makes us so wonderfully unique in this life. It is also the energy that connects us to our environments, our planet and each other. It inspires us to act in kindness and moves us to empathy. Because love is our center, we have the capacity to be kind, compassionate and loving to each other and our universe.

Our loving center of being is the foundation of this life. And when we fully embrace who we each truly are from the inside out, we launch ourselves into the stratosphere of greatness. We become more than our bodies, more than what we have, more than what we accomplish and more than what we desire. In those moments, we embody our infinite nature. We become gods.

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.

Picture: Me and my twin brother, I coached him about a decade ago for several bodybuilding shows. He did so well winning trophies, but we both agreed that it was the time we got to share that made it all worth while. I do love my brother. He is truly an inspiration to me but more so he always reminds me of love. Thank you for coming to this life and being my brother.
