The Inspired life

“The inspired life is really a noble life. And a noble life is one that is worthy of emulation.” - Tadayoshi Inoue

There are and have always been so many, what I call “Masters” in this worldly life. These Masters are the people who exhibit inhuman excellence in this their lives and values. They create unbelievable inventions through all kinds of adversity. They break all the barriers to human achievement in their field of interest. And they show love and compassion well beyond what most are willing to offer. To me these are the individuals throughout time and history that we always remember. These are the Masters.

Nilkola Tesla, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs, Jesus, Buddha, Mother Theresa, Chadwick Boseman, Michael Jordan, Nelson Mandela, Abraham Lincoln, Ronnie Coleman and the list goes on and on! We remember them because of what they offered future generations. We don’t remember them because of what they had. Instead what they did becomes our excuse to pay attention to who they showed up in this life to be. And in doing so, they show us a glimpse into the true greatness that is available to us all. And that is deeply attractive and inspiring to us all.

We all have the capacity to be inspired enough to march through the war torn trenches of our lives toward a singular goal no matter who or what may be in our way. What makes these Masters so great at inspiring so many; they always press on. They never give up on their dreams. They listen only to the voice inside that is always telling them to press on.

The Masters know that obstacles don’t mean failure, they mean learning and getting better. But again, it isn’t the accomplishments that are so inspiring for us to see. What creates the legacies of each of these Masters are the journeys we get to witness and recant.

We are in love with the hero’s journey! Because deep down inside, we all want to be heroes. We make our athletes in professional sports our heroes. We make our favorite actors and industry leaders into our heroes. We have even made our parents and imaginary comic book characters our heroes. We are creatures that thrive on inspiration. The life of a hero is an inspired life. We are all heroes at heart. The trick is to know your inspiration and yes, to always press on!

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
