Your Real “WHY” makes all the difference

Do you finally want to lose the fat and feel good about your body? Will 2021 be another year of failed attempts at consistently going to the gym and eating for fat loss? Each year millions of people set great goals to achieve with their bodies but the vast majority fail because they usually do not have the kind of clarity of purpose that is needed in order to achieve their goals.

The real truth is you can desire something deeply but if you don’t know your own REAL “WHY” you are wanting something then you will most likely lack the clarity it takes to succeed. In order to make it through the tough times in a diet and weight loss program you need to know that deep “why” you are doing something. Your why is something you can’t touch or see, it is your big reason that makes your goals meaningful to you and only you.

When I do my initial assessment of any client in my discovery calls, what I am trying to figure out is your real WHY. Why do you really want what you want? When you can get at the root of why you want what you do then it gets really easy to stay motivated as long as you can connect what you want with what you are getting. 

I have done this with so many wonderful clients. Karen is a great example of this. Once I got on a discovery call with her it got clear quick. She thought she wanted to just feel better about her body. But in the end she really wanted the great physique because she thought looking better would make her feel better about who she was. She lacked a sense of self worth. But once we identified this, it was easy to clear the air and then for her to see that she was working backwards. She needed to feel worthy first then the changes would be easier for her to adopt and make. Which they were.
