Embrace Your Bias As A Part Of The Larger Whole

Here is a stage shot from the 2007 LA Championships, I won the heavy class that year (I’m center). Wow, life moves at the pace we decide to pay attention at. This days seems just like yesterday!

THB:
I can only see the world through my unique perspective. This bias is my limitation to understanding others and my world. We all have a prejudice that we operate in this world with and that we are forced to see everything see through. All we can ever really do is to try our best to acknowledge our own bias, so that we may learn what is not known to us, and see what may be invisible. But to insist on absolutes, means to deny the infinite nature of this life and universe. However, when we see ourselves and our place in this life as a part of something greater, then we acknowledge that ineffable force that we try to call God. I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
