“You were built to transform”

In order to truly change our bodies and our lives we must embrace a process of change and transformation. The problem with transforming into something new, even if we deeply desire it, is that all change feels different and usually uncomfortable from what our current normal feels like. 

The process of letting go of the beliefs and activities that do not serve us so we can take in something new that will nurture the change within us, can feel as though no matter what we do, we still want to fall back into our old ways of thinking and behaving even though we know we do not want them. It is the unnatural feelings of new beliefs and behaviors combined with consistently sliding back and forth in and out of old ways of being that can leave you feeling as though you were never really meant to change in the first place. 

The truth is, this is exactly the way change happens and feels. Change happens incrementally over time with many regressions along the way, and feels different and uneasy from what you have always felt and done before. In most cases, it is the uncomfortableness of change that convinces most to simply give up before the real transformation can be felt and seen as normal. Most can’t bare the uncomfortability of letting go of the old and picking up the new. This struggle doesn’t have to be you. You don’t have to feel like your body and mind are working against you.

After literally working with thousands of clients over 30 years of coaching transformations, I can tell you with complete certainty that all change takes work and is never easy, but they are always worth it. The great news is that change and transformation is absolutely possible for every single person I have ever met it just takes a desire for change, a willingness to live in the rooms of uncomfortably in your life for a time, and faith that you will always make it to the other side better than you were when you started. 

Every person is built to change! The only real question you have to ask yourself is: Are you ready for your transformation? Are you ready to live in the body and the life that excites you? If not now, then when?
