Power of Conscious Thought

“If your mind carries a heavy burden of past, you will experience more of the same. The past perpetuates itself through lack of presence. The quality of your consciousness at this moment is what shapes the future.” - Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now: A Guide to Spiritual Enlightenment

Action can be a very powerful agent for change in our life’s creation. But don’t be fooled we have an even more powerful tool, our thoughts. Our thoughts not only guide and orchestrate our actions, but our thoughts will also give us a glimpse into our futures. Because we always control what we think about and what we do, we have a delicate control over what experience we are creating in any moment. While we may not control the elements that make up our experience with total accuracy, we do control what meaning we place on them and thus what messages we tell ourselves about them. These messages are what inspires within us our emotional feedback. So in the end, I control my emotions by controlling my thoughts and messages that I allow myself. I can then see how I create by thinking first then acting repetitiously. When I am trapped by my past, it is because I wake up that day and read the script of disappointment of my life but it is only my belief in it that makes it real. Creation at its root takes faith in our own creative power. We must know on a conscious and unconscious level that our new thoughts, our daydreams and our fantasies are the seeds of our future. What we think about most often end up being part of our programs of belief. What we believe is a powerful energy that knowingly and unknowingly guides and directs our life’s creations. So daydream and indulge in your doubt-free thoughtful fantasies, because if you are consistent with them, they will lead you to realizing your dreams. I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
