“Staying Motivated with Dieting or anything”

"The difference between who you are and who you want to be is what you do." - Unknown

Staying motivated on a diet can be challenging, especially when temptation strikes. Just about everyone wants to deviate at some point or another. Here are some things that can I suggest to my clients that have helped them stay on track!

  1. Keep your eyes on the prize: Remember why you started your diet and vividly imagine how you will feel when you reach your goal of staying on track just for the day.
  2. Plan ahead: Prepare yourself for situations where you might be tempted to cheat on your diet. For instance, bring healthy snacks with you when you’re out and about, or eat a nutritious meal before attending a social event.
  3. Seek support: Surround yourself with individuals who encourage your weight loss journey. Consider joining a group or finding a coach who can help keep you stay accountable.
  4. Treat yourself: When you reach weekly milestones along the way, celebrate with non-food rewards such as a new book or a fun activity.

Remember, the path to your goals completion is not always easy, but with concrete strategies, you can increase your chances of success.
