Knowing who you truly are in this life is the chronic disabling condition for so many. What I mean is when a person doesn’t truly know who they are in this universe they seek to find out, prove it to others and make themselves into something for themselves and the world to see. But when you really know I have found that most do not see the need to make it known to anyone.
This usually means the quietest people often have accepted so much more of themselves than the one’s who scream the loudest especially about who they are or what they deserve in this life.
Someone who goes out to make themselves into something else that is perhaps admirable in their eyes or the eyes of others is really trying to find out who they really are. If they knew already and felt this deep within themselves then they would probably find no reason to prove themselves to anyone.
When someone confuses me with my twin brother (which has happened so often in my life) I have never made too much of a fuss about it. Why? because I know exactly who I am and thus nobody else needs to know really. If they do then I tell them but I don’t need to make a big deal out of it. But if someone feels poor but is really rich they will most likely scream otherwise if they are accused of being impoverished. But, if they were born into money then they most likely won’t care either way what you think, because they know and it matters not if you do.
Just a few thoughts about knowing ourselves and why we each may care so much about what others think about us. Who do you think you are?
I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
