“Are you overwhelmed?”

“There is a fine line between challenging yourself and overwhelming yourself.” ― Brittany Burgunder

Recently, I have taken on a couple of projects that is going to transform much of how I do business in good and exciting ways. But what I am finding is at the age of 52 now, I find it easier to feel a little overwhelmed at times. I am making it but it means I have to learn new things and adapt in ways I am not used to doing for years.

I am up for the challenge because I can clearly see how wonderfully transformative this will be for me not to mention lucrative. But like anyone else I have my moments of feeling like I may fail or that I may not be up to the challenge. But I remind myself to just put one foot in front of the other and keep on going.

I have found that my mind sees my life possibilities as much more challenging that what actually ends up happening. This I know is no different. So in my moments when I feel the urge to get down or feel like I can’t do it I quickly move my thoughts to all the things that I have done in the past so successfully. And I remind myself not to look too far ahead just pay attention to what is directly in front of me.

I know that slow and steady always wins the race. I may not get their the quickest but I will cross the finish line. I know it! I just keep going. It reminds me of one of my favorite childhood stories my mother would read to me. “The Little Engine That Could” That is me. “I think I can… I think I can… I know I can… I know I can!”

These new endeavors have to do with me opening up a new part of my business that still focuses on health and fitness just not in the bodybuilding sector. Still very exciting to me but a little scary to change the way I have traditionally done my business process. But I know I can!
