“What do you decide to see?”

“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.” - Desmond Tutu

What is your light in the darkness? For me, my light is the joyful feelings of love and happiness that I generate each day. I try to generate them not because of others behaviors or because of what happens to me that would make my joy conditional.

Instead I ask myself ‘who are you today in this moment right now Tad?” Then I try my best to act accordingly. Sometimes I just have to fake it until I make it so.

The trick is to NOT require any conditions in order to be happy. We all do this but try just acting joyful. Try just loving someone because it is who you are and not because of what they do for you.

Loving unconditionally or being happy and joyful unconditionally is hard when life throws up crap at you each day but if you stop for just a second and ask yourself “who am I showing up as right now?” This can really help you focus your power in this life.

Be who you are not who others reflect at you.

(Picture me and my twin brother blowing our candles out on our 52nd birthday just a couple weeks ago. Man I am so thankful to be living this life with him Thank you bro I love you!)
