Eliminating Excuses for Change

We continue to repeat similar outcomes because we are using the same old set of mindset tools that created the old self. You are getting exactly what you are suppose to. True change requires new tools, feeling uncomfortable at times, and faith in what you can not see yet. 

I have moved through so many pathways of change in my life from changing my body, to my career, to my environments, to my relationships, and they all required me to change on the inside first before they changed me into who I am now. This kind of approach always feels terrifying and scary at many points during the process of change. Your mind will tell you to STOP, to go back to doing what you have always done, to feel more comfortable and to settle for staying the same, even if you tell yourself “just for now I am giving up.”

Once I recognizeed how this formula works, then it was easy to accept the process of change and not accept the excuses and reasons I was trying to give myself to quit or to keep doing what I had always done. This is 99% of the battle for most people. Getting rid of the excuses and reasons that keep them in a holding pattern of change in their lives.
