Changing your world

“I spend my life building the world I want to live in.” - Robin Chase

What kind of world do you want to live in? What does that world feel like or look like? The world I desire has is one in which we embrace having a deeper connection to each other,  to our planet and universe. Many people want things to change, but what are you doing to change things? And who’s responsibility is it to really make those changes happen?

Our world changes because WE change. But it won’t change in the ways we want if we approach it from a place of anger or violence. Most importantly we won’t change the mind’s of others

very easily. So how do we gain the momentum of positive change then?

We think we change people’s minds on things but the real truth is that the individual must change his or her own mind themselves. We may use data, facts and compelling arguments to give people the excuse to change but they must come to them on their own. The good news is there is an easier way that always produces wonderful results in your experience of your world.

The only solution that will automatically guarantee a positive result is when we decide to change ourselves and focus primarily on finding those elements that we want more of in our culture and we focus on them. If we try to impress our ideas on anyone who may hold a different point of view, then we will undoubtedly encounter strong resistance. This is a losing battle and not worth the fight.

Focusing on what each of us can do ourselves always allows each of us to find the elements we love, encourages our joy and makes us feel deeply connected to our own life experience. We essentially find our bliss when we look for it.

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
