Realizing your Vision

“For me, becoming isn’t about arriving somewhere or achieving a certain aim. I see it instead as forward motion, a means of evolving, a way to reach continuously toward a better self. The journey doesn’t end.” - Michelle Obama

Do you have an unrealized vision of yourself and or your life’s path? Do you yearn to accomplish something truly important to you but seem to feel behind or unable to get traction with it? When you think about what you want to become do you feel encumbered with fear or the uncertainty of how you will get yourself there?  If gone unanswered, our strongest desires can cultivate feelings of depression or disappointment.

The more intense our passion or desire is the stronger our feelings can be. Something deep within you is speaking to you and the longer you hold yourself back from it, the more uncomfortable you become with yourself and your life. You know this is something you were meant to do or become and your life is only worth living if you can have it. The funny thing is, most of these feelings are actually quite common among many who eventually do realize their own personal vision of success.

What pushes us on the inside often feels like strong passionate desire, but you might also call it your inner voice. We each have a voice that speaks to us through our feelings and which informs our decisions throughout our lives. Don’t be fooled though, fear is never a feeling that our inner voice uses to guide us toward our highest self. Fear is an exercise of our imaginations. It is our response to this physical world based on us trying to predict our own life’s negative outcomes. Fear in always imagined and usually only holds us back from action.

For people of action fear serves very little purpose, but excitement and fun hold so much more for us to follow in our lives that almost always yields the riches of self-actualization we all really want. All these kinds of high-vibration states encourage action and help us to let go of old self-images and embrace the truth of our being. We get to live, even if for a moment, in that larger part of who we each truly are. What that looks like for each of us is always strong consistent positive emotion. We feel powerful, we feel free, we feel lovable and invincible.

In our powerful moments, as we realize these attributes of our highest self, we become the love that we feel, the fun we experience and the joy we express. We are an energy that is best described as feelings. We are infinite and undying. We just get to use these physical vessels for a short time to have this beautiful journey we call our lives. No matter what kind of experience I am having, I know who I am. I am love. I am joy. I am good.
