Embracing Uneasiness to Create Change

An original piece for the XXII International Exhibition of La Triennale di Milano
“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.” - Roy T. Bennett

THBM:

The essence of change in our bodies and lives happens because we step into that room of uncomfortability for awhile each day as we train our bodies and do all that is required for change to happen. The more uncomfortable we can bare, the greater the changes we inspire within us. In the end, all that was once uncomfortable becomes normal, and thus we continually establish new standards for ourselves through this evolutionary process of adapting to our own uneasiness.

So embrace the uneasiness of your life with the knowledge that all of your uneasiness and uncomfortability are the gateways for you to become more than you are now. The necessity of feeling uneasy in life is a gift that many don’t know how to accept. But accepting what is now is the cornerstone for what you need to step into who you will be tomorrow. We are always reborn from the ashes of our pain and suffering. I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
