THBM:
We have so many wonderful and inspiring examples of courage and hope in our shared human past. So many times we have stood up against the tyranny of those who would oppress or take advantage of those they could. And in the end as Gandhi says, they always fall because we are truth seekers, we pursue fairness and the opportunity to live as we intended to when we came to this life. I remind myself that we always outnumber those who wish to take from others or those who seek to do harm because they can or because they no no better. The life we each seek are lives filled with our joys. We desire to create for ourselves a space that predominantly feels loving, warm, safe and good. Our task is to become what we desire. To be led by and to create from the inspiration of our feelings. But in order to do this, we must discard the old ways of arguing and fighting, and embrace each other as the biological family that we all truly are. I can see a world in my mind’s eye that knows how to love itself so much that when any of us sees pain or suffering we are moved to respond. Not out of obligation, but because we care for everyone as we do for our own children. We love each other because love is what we want most in this world, and because love is the only way to approach each other in order to consistently find what we each desire in all our interactions, a deep and wonderful connection. We are love. We are joy. We are so very good.
