“My childhood dreams”

"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Since I was an early teenager I dreamed of who I would become. Now at fifty-two I have become so much of what I have always dreamed of. I first dreamed of becoming a great bodybuilder. I did that. Then I dreamed of making money that would give me freedom. I did that. I always dreamed of having some of the prettiest women who would have me and would love me, I did that a few more times than I wanted!

My life has been what I dreamed. It just didn’t happen the way I thought each milestone would happen. I thought things would happen one way but the universe brought it to me in another way. As long as I didn’t deviate from my desires I eventually arrived at them.

The funny thing has always been that I thought I wanted one thing but what I really wanted was what that “thing” or accomplishment I wanted would give me emotionally. Power, confidence, love, worthiness or freedom were all a part of my real goals that I wanted and I can truly say I have been blessed.

This life is pretty awesome it gives you what you want, the trick is that it takes longer to come if you don’t become what you want in thought and feeling first. Whether it be confidence or love, I had to feel that consistently within me first before the “stuff” that I thought would give it to me showed up in my life.

Didn’t matter if it was a woman or a bodybuilding championship. I had to think it consistently but more over I had to become what I wanted emotionally. I had to feel loved. I had to feel like I had already won. I had to become what I desired and it always started with my thoughts and eventually beliefs.

I don’t tell people my goals any more, they never really understand. They don’t have to they aren’t their goals. I keep them to myself and I focus on them with tenacity. I tend to meditate more often now and I cultivate how I really want to feel in my life and voila, I always get what I truly want. Thank you universe!

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
