When I offer my help it is never at a cost unless I tell them on the front end. I really hate deceptive sales tactics. I have been trying to dump a Time Share that I really only have months left on the payments. Seems like these people somehow figured out that I wanted to do this and I have gotten emails and calls from these people who say they will help me get out of it but they really they are lawyers looking for a $4000 sale just to do this work.
Yea, I purchased a time share when I was married as a promise to my ex-wife that I would commit to taking some vacations each year. But after my divorce I got stuck with it and now I can’t seem to unload it.
What started out as a gesture of love has come back to bite me in the ass. If anyone knows how to get rid of this let me know. Otherwise I may just have to give it back to the bank. I really don’t know what to do.
I have to be a loving and honorable man, husband and father but many times it seems that I am just taken advantage of. This is my fault for buying this in the first place so I blame only myself. Lesson learned.
If anyone has any ideas, the time share is in Kawaii and is at a premium timeshare location. I only have maybe a year left on the mortgage. Ideas?
Thank you.
