Do you wake up not feeling good? Do you think to yourself, this the best I got? Can I feel better? Why would I feel better? Do I deserve to feel better? Most people wait to feel good, but they do so by waiting for life to deliver what they want to them emotionally. There is another way.
All the shit that has ever happened to you, do you think that is who you are? All the worst things you have ever heard about yourself from others, is that what you believe about yourself? Or is there something else calling you from within you.
I can tell you that I have been told some pretty horrible things that were directed at me in my life. They were meant to hurt and they were meant to injure me. But none of the things that has ever been told to me could truly hurt me if I didn’t agree and allow them in. I always get to decide what I call my truth. And so do you.
We cultivate within us, all the feelings that we feel by the practices, thoughts, actions and influences we allow into our lives. Who we hang around with, what information we allow into our mind space and what we choose to say to ourselves all contributes to what we are nurturing within ourselves. What are you nurturing each day with your inner voice?
Choose wisely what words and ideas you say to yourself. Your voice is the most important voice your mind will ever hear. So speak nicely and speak the words that feel empowering to your joy, to your loves and to your very wellbeing.
Treat your body nicely with good food. Treat your body nicely with exercise and peaceful rest. And treat your spirit well by connecting yourself to something greater than yourself. Something that makes you feel connected to this life’s majesty and beauty. Then always say thank you!
Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for the mentors. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity this life provides me to feel all that I do!
