Today in the world of fact checkers and fake news it seems the world can sometimes ignore the most reliable source of information that can aid us in establishing our own well-being. We often overlook our own truth that we feel within us. We sometimes call it intuition or gut feelings, but it is this sense of ourselves that speaks to us constantly guiding us in our lives.
I have many truths and some are only for me. I have truths that make sense to many and I have some that only make sense to me. I don’t need anyone else in this world to validate them because I can feel the veracity of them directly within me. We only need validation from others when we aren’t sure about something.
I also know that my truth may not be viable for you or anyone else in this life. Truth is often thought of as static or never changing. If something is said to be true, then it is often thought that it should always be true in all situations and for anyone asking.
The reality is we all have truths that are only meant for each of us. One example is what I prefer to do with my eating habits and my activity habits. This is my truth and probably for many others too, but I can only call it my truth because I can only speak and act form myself.
I have my own way of understanding this world that makes sense to me, this empowers me to feel good about about my life and how I choose to spend it. It doesn’t matter if anyone else can see or feel this. It only matters that I am cultivating the life experience I want.
I fill my cup each day with the intentions of love, joy and compassion for all that I meet and see. My central truth is that my life should feel good. I am going to feel every emotion on the spectrum but generally it should feel good. To me this is a satisfying life.
I am love. I am joy. I am so very good. And so are each one of you!
