This weekend a friend in the fitness industry died, Andy Haman. I wasn’t Andy’s best friend but I would bump into Andy many times in the last 20 years. And each time he always had a smile for me and something funny to share. I am thankful for people like Andy who did such a wonderful job entertaining all those around him. I am thankful that he seemed to be close to his son and his family. His family always seemed to be the most important to him.
I can tell by Andy’s energy that he was genuinely happy and wanted to share that with those around him. Maybe this is why he and I got alone well, even though we never really hung out or called on one another for anything other than an occasional laugh at a contest or to take a funny picture together from time to time.
I didn’t know Andy that well, but I know a good spirit when I meet one. And Andy was a good one. Thank you for what you have contributed to this life Andy. Thank you for always offering a smile and a good word. Thank you for showing me and others that sometimes a good laugh is better than anything else. Now you truly are Mr. Incredible! I hope your next adventure is as big as you are! Thank you for sharing my friend.
I wish love and peace to all of Andy’s family, friends and fans. I believe everything happens for good reasons in this life. I don’t know what they all are all the time, but I know they are all good. I am love. I am joy. I am so very good. And so are each one of you.I am love. I am joy. I am so very good. And so are each one of you.
