Love and Me

“Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.” ― Lao Tzu

I have always preferred loving over being loved. Maybe it is because I know that I am loved by this life so much. Or maybe its because I am a twin and I know I always have a best friend in this world who loves me. But whatever the case is, I love the feeling of expressing my love to anyone and everyone that I meet.

Being kind and offering something of myself for the sake and value of another fills me with such wonderful purpose and brings to me a wellspring of good feelings. Loving makes me feel like I am doing exactly what I am designed to do. I am designed to express who I am, and I am love.

I am not sure exactly what kind of courage Lao Tzu is speaking of when he says that loving someone deeply gives you courage, but being willing to freely express love has given me the courage to always want to express it. Loving others, no matter who they are, reminds me of my own innate goodness. We are such a blessed species to be able to do and feel all that we do. And because of my experience with expressing love in my life I love so much of it.

I love feeling the strength of my body. I love that I am a daddy. I love that I get to help people all year long accomplish their goals and dreams. And I love that I get to live this life knowing just how special I am, and how wonderful each one of you truly are. We are all gods of this life. None of us above another, all kings and queens of our life and destinies!

I am love. I am joy. I am so very good.
